Sales Account Manager, ITS

Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager, ITS East is responsible for driving regional revenue growth for Seyond’s LiDAR-based ITS solutions across the Eastern United States. The role involves developing long-term relationships with state DOTs, municipalities, toll authorities, and engineering consultants; influencing transportation specifications; supporting distributors; driving engineering engagement; expanding partnerships; and positioning Seyond as a market leader in LiDAR detection technologies. The successful candidate will conduct technical presentations, lead joint customer meetings, manage pipeline using CRM (e.g., HubSpot), and travel approximately 30-40% within the territory. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 3+ years of ITS/public-sector sales experience is expected. The position is remote within the Eastern US with residency near a major airport, and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success. This role does not sponsor immigration, and travel is a key component of daily responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in ITS, transportation technology, traffic systems, smart infrastructure, or related industries
- Proven experience selling technology solutions into public-sector transportation markets
- Strong understanding of DOT procurement processes, transportation funding cycles, consultant-driven specifications, competitive bid environments
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long deployment timelines
