Job Summary
Sales Account Manager responsible for overall customer account management and acting as the main interface to customers, coordinating support from all relevant teams. Leads day-to-day sales cycles using Salesforce, manages the full product portfolio including Equipment & Lifecycle Sales (Consumables, Parts, Service), and drives growth by presenting comprehensive investment options in Heidelberg portfolio. Maintains knowledge of market trends and customer situations to identify new business opportunities, ensures customer success, and collaborates with finance, service, and lifecycle teams to support end-to-end requirements. Uses Salesforce for planning, leading, and closing deals; seeks feedback to improve performance; travels extensively within the South region; focuses on achieving sales targets, TASP, and net working capital targets; builds professional relationships with customers and dealers, and supports marketing activities and product campaigns. Proactively qualifies leads, negotiates contracts, and maintains open information flow across business areas to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Demonstrates consultative selling approach and contributes to product development insights, trial coordination with Technical Support, and dealer network development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Science/Engineering/Printing Technology preferred
- 8 to 12 years of sales experience in equipment sales within graphic art industry
- Hands-on experience selling Sheetfed, Prepress, Postpress printing equipment
- Knowledge of consumables such as inks, coatings, plates, and related spare parts
- Proficiency in Sales Analytics and Salesforce
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively and take ownership of results in volatile markets
- Ability to manage sales in the South region
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Science/Engineering/Printing Technology
- 8 to 12 years sales experience in selling equipment in the graphic arts industry
- Experience in selling Sheetfed, Prepress, Postpress printing equipment
- Knowledge of consumables such as concentrates inks, process colour inks, water based inks, UV inks, flexo inks, pressroom chemicals, coatings, plates, blankets & rollers
- Experience with spare parts for sheetfed, prepress, postpress and flexo machinery
- Essential skills in sales analytics and usage of Salesforce
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales and service partners
- Willingness to take ownership and deliver results in volatile markets
- Excellent business communication in English
- Ability to travel extensively and manage South region sales
