Job Summary
Generate new B2B business opportunities targeting organizations with 20–100+ employees through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and LinkedIn. Prospect actively to develop relationships with technology decision-makers and conduct face-to-face discovery meetings to identify cybersecurity and compliance challenges. Sell the portfolio of Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365 solutions by collaborating with technical teams to craft proposals and present competitive differentiation. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining contact with acquired customers and identifying expansion opportunities. Represent the Company professionally in the Toronto business community by attending networking functions, conferences, and after-hours events throughout the GTA.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of successful B2B / or related sales experience
- Demonstrated history of prospecting and winning new customers, rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads
- Comfortable developing business through networking, cold outreach and referrals
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling
- Ability to communicate technology solutions in business terms to non-technical executives
- Strong presentation, negotiation and closing abilities
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a results-oriented environment where a substantial portion of compensation is performance-based
- Strong organization, CRM and pipeline-management skills
- Professional appearance and executive-level communication skills
- Must live within reasonable travelling distance of Toronto/GTA
- Candidate must possess a valid Ontario driver's licence
- Candidate must have reliable access to their own vehicle
- Candidate must be willing and able to attend occasional evening and after-hours networking, client, vendor and industry events
- Some early-morning events may also be required
