Job Summary
Sales Account Manager responsible for existing customer account management, wallet share growth and new business development of liquid and bulk products across industries (Food/Beverage, Metals Processing, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals). Role emphasizes prospecting, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and driving revenue while maintaining customer relationships. Requires 4-year degree (business or engineering) or equivalent, 3-4 years of sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently, and overnight travel for territory coverage. Residence-based position focused in Illinois (Chicagoland area) with preferred location in suburbs of Chicago, and travel to support Wisconsin territory as needed. The role involves collaboration with product, marketing, and cross-functional teams within a matrix organization and requires maintaining a valid driver’s license and legal work eligibility in the US.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree in business or engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3-4 years of sales experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Superior presentation skills
- Able to travel overnight as needed
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without current or future sponsorship (no sponsorship required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
