Sales Account Executive

Job Summary
The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue by engaging with established agencies and cold-calling new prospects. The role involves establishing credible relationships within the local business community, making sales calls on current and potential clients, and preparing presentations that demonstrate how advertising can promote their products effectively. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, and at least one year of sales experience, preferably in media. Proficiency with standard office equipment and a valid driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing the strategies and actions to achieve them
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
