Sales Account Executive

Job Summary
Meet and exceed sales targets by targeting businesses in the assigned area, visiting established and competitor clients, and identifying new growth opportunities. Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals and written presentations while actively participating in sales meetings and trade shows. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans, follow up on client production orders, and solve any issues that arise. Conduct cold calls in-person and over the phone, present to clients regularly, and develop new product knowledge. Work a Monday-Friday, 8a-5p schedule with a combination of in-office and field time, with a first-year earning potential of $35,000-$45,000 including commissions. Complete an 8-15 minute personality assessment as part of the application process.
Required Qualifications
- Current and Valid Driver's License
- U.S. work authorization not requiring sponsorship
- Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in-person
- Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform effectively under fluctuating workloads
- A knack for making connections and gaining the trust of others
- Ability to meet a sales quota and utilize general sales techniques
- Intrinsic self-motivation to overcome challenges and meet goals
- Resilience in response to rejection
- Ability to exhibit effective time management and self-organization
- Willingness to immerse yourself in the outdoor advertising industry with the intent of selling its benefits to businesses and customers
- Ability to communicate with people of various social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds
- Nights spent away from home traveling are less than 10%

- Previous Outdoor Advertising sales experience
