Job Summary
Sales Account Executive role focused on Italy expansion (Italy market) to establish the zero-to-one phase for Italian market entry. Responsibilities include strategic discovery and prospecting of B2G SaaS deals, closing 8+ contracts to achieve €250k ARR, managing 9-month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, adapting the playbook to the Italian market, and building initial partnerships with local authorities. Requires proven complex sales experience, 4-7+ years in relevant roles, fluency in Italian and English, and willingness to ramp up at HQ in Paris during the first two weeks; based in Milan with in-person meetings across Italy.
Required Qualifications
- 4-7+ years of experience in complex SaaS sales
- proven track record in selling to public sector or complex procurement cycles
- excellent Italian and English language proficiency
- experience as first commercial or country opener in an Italian-speaking market is a plus
- ability to manage multi-stakeholder deals and 6-9 month sales cycles
- full-cycle SaaS sales experience including pipeline building, outreach, and closing
- based in Milan and able to travel for in-person meetings across Italy
- familiarity with SaaS methodologies, strategic accounts, and pre-sales
