Job Summary
Sales Account Executive position, remote within the San Diego territory, responsible for territory management including travel to current and potential customers, building and maintaining relationships, and achieving YoY sales growth and gross margin targets. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or life sciences, 5+ years of outside sales experience in the life sciences/chemical sector, strong communication and analytical skills, MS Office proficiency, and ability to travel while handling material up to 40-60 lbs. Develop and execute account development strategies from R&D to Production to QC, and manage expenses within policy guidelines. Competitive base salary ($70k-$90k) with total first-year compensation potential of $130k-$150k based on quarterly goal attainment; benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, wellness plan, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, biology, or the life sciences required
- Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience
- Experience in chemical sales industry a plus
- A sales background in life science, chemistry, biology, or other scientific products is a plus
- Ability to travel and lift/carry between 40 & 60 lbs.
