Job Summary
Lead and participate in community outings and activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence and socialization through parks, hiking, museums, and shopping. Assist individuals with communication, money management, and daily living skills while safely transporting them to community events. Complete required electronic documentation, follow individual support plans, and collaborate with coworkers, families, and case managers to maintain a respectful environment. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check. Starting pay is $25.00/hour with opportunities for raises and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Pass an ODHS-approved background check
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
- Physically able to participate in community activities and provide support as needed
- CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain through North Star Oregon which we provide at no cost
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (per Oregon DHS standards)
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Physical ability to assist with mobility, transport, and adaptive supports as needed
