Job Summary
Drive vehicles across the block during auctions, moving, staging, and parking cars in the correct lot areas while adhering to all safety guidelines and the ADESA wedge. Immediately report any breakdowns, maintenance needs, traffic citations, warnings, accidents, or mechanical problems to supervisors. Operate motor vehicles safely with conservative, cautious habits and ensure company safety policies are followed at all times. Work outdoors in any weather conditions, standing and walking frequently, with potential for running or jumping during emergencies. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and English proficiency, scheduled one day per week from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions
- The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work
- Frequent – standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking
- Potential – running, jumping, yelling or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations
