Job Summary

The Sale Coordinator, Design acts as the project manager for the execution of sales by monitoring all activities related to incoming property, overseeing catalogue production and sale deadlines, and handling client paperwork and charges within Christie’s systems. Responsibilities include liaising with global clients for consignments, managing seller agreements and stock orders, tracking consignment paperwork for compliance, coordinating with Art Transport for shipping and export licenses, coordinating index and catalogue tasks (photography, essays, lotting, copyright), leading weekly pipeline reviews, supporting the International Head of Design, coordinating with Marketing and Operations, and preparing post-sale handoff and documentation. Requires strong project management, exceptional client service, attention to detail, and proficiency with Christie’s systems; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced art-market environment.
