Salad Bar/Produce Associate

Job Summary
Maintain and operate the produce department, including trimming and preparation of merchandise; cut, slice, and prepare produce; weigh, package and label products; rotate and merchandise shelves and displays; assist with unloading deliveries; notify management for orders; practice suggestive selling and provide customer assistance; maintain knowledge of department products, safety and cleaning protocols, and PPE/food-safety guidelines; perform duties with accuracy and attention to detail in a retail grocery environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Must be able to work with fresh fruits, vegetables without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- Physical requirements: lift/move up to 30-50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods
