Job Summary
Med/Surg RN on the St. James Unit for Brown University Health in Fall River, MA. Night shift, full-time 36 hours/week, providing direct patient care using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to achieve clinical and organizational outcomes. Requires MA RN license and BLS (ACLS/PALS in some departments); Associate's degree in nursing (BSN strongly preferred). Responsibilities include knowledge of nursing process, data analysis and synthesis for patient care judgments, and delivery of age- and culturally appropriate care.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN strongly preferred
- MA RN license and BLS required (ACLS or PALS may be required in some departments)
- RN eligibility and licensure in Massachusetts
- Nursing knowledge of nursing process
- Ability to provide age- and culturally-specific care
