Job Summary
Coordinate schedules with cardiology, anesthesia, and specialties for inpatient and outpatient populations while performing cardiac stress testing. Provide pre- and post-procedure care for TEE and cardioversion patients, accurately obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs, and monitor patients for hemodynamic stability. Deliver patient education on heart health and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and positive outcomes. Work full-time Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of one-year nursing experience
- Fulltime Monday-Friday, Rotating Weekends and Holidays
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Cardiology experience (Non-Invasive, Critical Care, Telemetry, or Cath Lab experience)
