Safety Valve technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Safety Valve Technician to maintain and repair a wide range of safety valves and associated pressure safety devices, ensuring they meet required tolerances. Responsibilities include maintaining pilot-operated relief valves and various isolation valves such as gate and ball valves, conducting pressure testing, and performing safety checks on tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, a strong understanding of valve types, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a safety-critical environment.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
- ONC in Engineering
- Strong understanding of valve types and pressure safety systems
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a safety-critical environment
- Excellent record-keeping and data entry skills
Desired Qualifications
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) training is desirable but not essential.
