Job Summary
Monitor street operations according to client, operations, and safety department requirements. Lead the division in safety organization regarding classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction covering defensive driving, service area familiarization, passenger loading/unloading, securement, manifest documentation, on-board equipment use, accident procedures, dispatch, radio communications, and passenger sensitivity. Ensure all safety manuals, programs, policies, and practices remain current and meet operational needs while maintaining a consistent safety culture across locations. Review reporting of vehicular, passenger, and employee accidents and incidents to determine cause and preventability, identifying trends for future training efforts. Requires a CDL, one-year accident-free driving experience, and ability to manage emergency situations in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a CDL
- Previous passenger transportation
- One-year accident/injury free driving experience
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel)
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments
- Ability to work independently and objectively
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Must be able to set priorities and exercise good judgment

- Previous training and/or field supervision experience
