Job Summary
Lead, develop, and manage safety and training programs to support operational goals, employee development, and regulatory compliance. Partner with management to identify training needs, establish priorities, and ensure required topics are completed on schedule. Research, interpret, and monitor OSHA requirements, then create, update, and maintain training materials, class syllabi, and safety documentation. Schedule and conduct training sessions while managing the training matrix to track compliance gaps and employee modules in Paycom. Conduct jobsite safety assessments, pre-bid risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Oversee fleet vehicle maintenance and facility maintenance by coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance, managing vendors, and ensuring timely issue resolution. Prepare reports for management regarding training status, safety compliance, inspections, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, training, operations, construction, industrial services, or a related field
- Prior leadership or program management experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, workplace safety practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention
- Experience developing and delivering training programs for adult learners, including classroom, field, and jobsite training
- Strong organizational, documentation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across departments, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and training or tracking documentation systems
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA certification or related safety credential
