Job Summary
Safety Trainer/Coordinator at City of Industry, CA to lead safety training programs, conduct new-hire safety orientation, deliver ongoing compliance trainings, coach sites on safe practices, perform inspections, support audits, administer the Behavior-Based Safety program, assist with incident investigations, maintain records and SDS, and promote a safety-first culture in collaboration with Plant Leadership and HR. Bilingual in English and Spanish required; OSHA 30-Hour certification or ability to obtain within 6 months; First Aid/CPR preferred. Strong communication, training, and data-tracking skills; experience with OSHA recordkeeping and safety-related reporting are key.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Human Resources, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in safety coordination, safety training, manufacturing operations, Human Resources, environmental health and safety, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
