Safety Technician

Job Summary
The Safety Technician will ensure project compliance with OSHA and company safety policies, promoting safe workplace practices to prevent and resolve unsafe acts. Responsibilities include implementing safety prevention plans, providing technical expertise, investigating work-related injuries, enforcing corrective actions, conducting safety inspections, and coaching staff on compliance with safety procedures. Essential qualifications include a High School diploma, two years of construction safety experience, knowledge of OSHA standards, and the ability to prepare safety documentation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 2+ years construction safety or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of Construction safety practices and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin, preferred
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA30 Construction Certification
- CPR/First Aid/AED certified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others
Additional Requirements
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license
- May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona
