Safety Technician / Psychiatry / Full-Time / Night / 7p-7a

Provide non-nursing safety and security appropriate to the age of patients served, incorporating principles of therapeutic verbal and physical intervention. Maintain composure and control of emotions while avoiding aggressive behavior in difficult and high-stress situations. Develop and maintain constructive, cooperative relationships with others. Complete required BCLS certification within three months of employment and Crisis Intervention Certification within one month, renewing the latter bi-annually for the first year and annually thereafter. No previous experience required; training and on-the-job experience will ensure proficiency within three months.
