Job Summary
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards alongside the HSE representative. Provide training and development programs for employees on first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, and occupational health practices. Help the HSE manager investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes, preparing detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to workplace safety and facilitate communication regarding safety concerns. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of health and safety within the manufacturing sector.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health practices
- Experience in training & development related to EHS topics
- Proficiency in report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and 5S
