Safety Technician - Data Center

Job Summary
Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, audits, and compliance assessments for large-scale data center construction projects in the Campinas region. Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and High-Risk Activities including lifting operations, permits, and task planning. Ensure adherence to Brazilian legislation, OSHA standards, and project-specific EHS and Construction Environmental Management Plans while maintaining all documentation. Partner with project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to promote safe work practices, participate in emergency preparedness activities, and drive continuous safety culture improvements. Requires minimum 3 years of EHS construction experience, advanced English proficiency, and strong analytical skills within a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment.
Required Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian EHS legislation, OSHA standards, and construction safety best practices
- Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, contractor safety management, and implementing EHS programs on active construction sites
- Experience supporting project-specific Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Plans and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP)
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Professional EHS or Safety certifications
