Job Summary
Safety Technician supporting the implementation and monitoring of company safety policies; assists with jobsite inspections, safety documentation, training coordination, and compliance across projects under the Safety Manager/Regional Safety Manager. Responsibilities include promoting a strong safety culture, conducting routine safety inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring PPE usage, reporting unsafe conditions, maintaining safety records, assisting in incident investigations and training requirements, coordinating safety initiatives and programs, participating in toolbox talks and JSAs, and supporting safety-related communications and administrative duties. Must hold OSHA 30, with preferred OSHA 510/CHST/STSC and First Aid/CPR certifications; travel to job sites as required; strong communication and Microsoft Office skills; ability to work in a team and in field environments.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- 1-2 years of construction-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn safety software
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently in the field
- Willingness to travel to job sites as required
