Job Summary
Safety Technician supports implementing and monitoring company safety policies and procedures under the Safety Manager/Regional Safety Manager, including jobsite safety inspections, safety documentation, training coordination, and compliance activities across projects. Responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, assisting in implementing safety programs, conducting routine job site safety inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, maintaining safety equipment and PPE, organizing safety records and training logs, participating in incident investigations, coordinating safety training requirements, administering the Substance Abuse Policy and Safety Recognition Program, leading toolbox talks, JSAs, and other safety-related meetings, and assisting in other safety initiatives as directed. Must have OSHA 30 (preferred OSHA 510/CHST/STC certifications), HS diploma/GED, 1-2 years construction experience, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel to job sites. Must be able to work in a team, in a data center environment, and handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and working nights/weekends as project needs require.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
- 1-2 years of construction-related experience
- High school diploma or GED
