Job Summary
Conduct daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities, including inspections, audits, and hazard assessments for utility installation and data center projects. Monitor safe work practices, temporary power distribution, and hazardous energy control while coordinating with electricians, foremen, and the Project Safety Manager. Document observations, track corrective actions, and lead incident investigations to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and NFPA 70E requirements. Provide field coaching to craft personnel and maintain all safety documentation. This 12-month, 1099 contractor role offers $63/hr, paid overtime, and a completion bonus for immediate start.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Experience providing safety oversight for electrical contractors
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- NFPA 70E training or certification
- Data center or mission-critical construction experience
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience
- Electrical energization or commissioning experience
- Utility construction experience
- CHST, STSC, ASP, or other BCSP credential
