Job Summary
Conduct daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities at a large-scale data center project in Sullivan, IN. Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas to identify hazards, monitor safe work practices, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific requirements. Perform routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments while supporting Lockout/Tagout and hazardous energy control operations. Provide field coaching to electricians and foremen, review Job Hazard Analyses, and document observations and corrective actions through completion. Participate in incident investigations and coordinate closely with the Project Safety Manager. Requires OSHA 30 Construction Certification, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and First Aid/CPR certification. Schedule includes Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 50-60 hours weekly with possible Sunday work.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Experience providing safety oversight for electrical contractors
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- NFPA 70E training or certification
- Data center or mission-critical construction experience
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience
- Electrical energization or commissioning experience
- Utility construction experience
- CHST, STSC, ASP, or other BCSP credential
