Job Summary
Maintain awareness of current treatment plans, behavior plans, and safety protocols to ensure a safe and orderly educational environment. Monitor classroom transactions, hallway movements, and student transitions while supervising students during activities. Assist with residential and day program arrival and dismissal procedures, providing crisis support to staff as needed. Communicate effectively with education and agency staff regarding management issues and attend required meetings and training. Develop nurturing relationships with students while reinforcing program expectations and participating in education-based projects.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Maintains up-to-date certification in TCI
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of experience with at-risk youth and/or youth with special education needs preferred
