Job Summary
Implement HSSE management systems and coordinate training, inductions, and audits to ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements. Analyze incidents, near misses, and hazards to drive corrective action programs while managing injury support and return-to-work coordination. Advise management on HSSE issues, maintain regulatory knowledge, and provide supervision coverage across operations, environment, and maintenance areas. Champion the Always Safe Charter values across the workplace. This role requires a formal OH&S qualification and knowledge of Queensland HSSE legislation, offering competitive pay, 14 weeks of parental leave, and flexible working arrangements within Veolia Water's global environmental services organization.
Required Qualifications
- Formal qualification in OH&S
- significant hands-on experience in a comparable safety role
