Job Summary
Directly influence the safety behavior, driving performance, and knowledge base of a long-haul driver fleet by reviewing accident and violation factors to determine remediation and prevention focus areas. Address trending problem areas with timely coaching and intervention while responding to questions regarding policies, procedures, best practices, and FMCSR/CSA interpretations. Provide weather updates to drivers and office associates, set up drug and alcohol screenings as necessary, and conduct regular and ad-hoc reporting. Collaborate with Fleet Managers on the Operations floor to reduce overall risk and manage compliance matters. Work M-F with weekend rotation in Dallas, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in transportation, motor carrier experience, and/or experience with DOT
- In-depth working knowledge of all applicable safety rules and regulations
- In compliance with Federal and State equal employment opportunity laws
