Safety Supervisor

Develop written safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules, including OSHA standards. Educate, communicate, monitor, and track safety goals quarterly and annually while identifying training needs to coordinate safety programs. Maintain safety files, schedule audits, ensure corrective actions on findings, and work with plant managers and vendors to assess hazards and train employees. Coordinate accident investigations, document hazard abatement, and consult with plant management to resolve safety-related issues. Requires prior experience managing safety in a manufacturing setting, ability to travel to a VA plant monthly, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 with profit-sharing and bonus programs.
