Job Summary
Conduct safety audits on job sites, personnel, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, MSHAs, and other regulations. Analyze incidents and accidents for trends to recommend improvements and implement safeguards. Organize and deliver safety training for employees and vendors, maintaining job site records and reporting findings to management. Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations. This field-heavy role requires significant on-site presence, including walking, climbing, and working in varying conditions, with a focus on fanatical attention to safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in Occupational Health & Safety
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety standards
- Ability to walk, climb, and work in varying conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- MSHA experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and with diverse teams
- Industrial contracting experience
