Job Summary
Conduct safety audits on job sites, personnel, equipment, and materials. Analyze incidents and accidents for trends to recommend improvements. Organize and deliver safety training for employees and vendors. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, MSHA, and other regulations while maintaining job site records. Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations. Work independently across Midwest job sites with significant field exposure. Requires 3–5 years in Occupational Health & Safety with industrial contracting experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years in Occupational Health & Safety
- Bachelor's degree
- MSHA experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT safety standards
- Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and with diverse teams
- Significant fieldwork in all areas of job sites
- Ability to walk, climb, and work in varying conditions
- Handle confidential information with discretion
