Job Summary
Safety Specialist will lead health and safety initiatives for Guardian Protection, updating and developing safety programs, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations, conducting incident investigations and root-cause analysis, coordinating with insurance and claims teams, performing safety inspections, delivering safety trainings, and driving corrective actions across operations. The role involves field visits, fleet-safety oversight, contractor requirements compliance, and collaboration with medical and insurance partners to support return-to-work processes.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a 4-year degree in Safety Science or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to lift 5+ pounds upon occasion
- Valid driver’s license
- Up to 30% travel
