Job Summary
Conduct regular, unannounced inspections of facilities and jobsites to ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies. Prepare audit reports, perform root cause analysis for incidents, and implement corrective action plans. Develop and deliver safety training materials, lead orientations, and conduct toolbox talks to reinforce safe habits. Maintain training logs, verify PPE inspections, and update the safety database using EHS management software. Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and proactive risk assessments across diverse property types. Requires bi-lingual Spanish skills, a valid FL driver's license, and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel
- Bi-lingual Spanish
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dedicated safety role
- OSHA 10-Hour
- Must have a valid FL driver's license and clean MVR
- Proficiency with EHS management software and presentation tools (PowerPoint and LMS platforms)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (preferred)
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or ASP (Associate Safety Professional) preferred
- Experience in the janitorial/construction industry a plus
- Exceptional public speaking ability and the tact required to enforce rules without damaging morale
