Job Summary
Safety Specialist reports to the Safety Manager and collaborates with Operations leadership and warehouse staff to uphold OSHA compliance, analyze safety data, conduct incident investigations, manage workers' compensation, deliver safety training, implement 6S across the warehouse, and drive continuous safety improvements through collaboration with the Safety Team and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of Safety Rules & Regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- 6S Knowledge preferred.
- Proven basic trainer/facilitator skills and the ability to create training curriculum, conduct training sessions, and instruct safety classes.
