Safety Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct safety audits across multiple facilities to identify and correct unsafe conditions, while providing ongoing instruction of OSHA required safety disciplines and coordinating annual training. Maintain accurate employee training records and safety documentation, review documents to reflect changing regulations, and participate in accident investigations to determine root causes. Collaborate with departmental representatives to address safety concerns, track corrective actions, and ensure organizational alignment with industry best practices. Stay informed about regulatory changes to ensure compliance and participate in division projects addressing safety issues.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of OSHA safety disciplines, other regulatory guidelines, and common industrial safety practices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Safety training and certificates preferred
