Safety Specialist - Mitchell (8285)

Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by monitoring the site, de-escalating crises, and identifying hazards through regular inspections. Review and improve safety programs, ensuring staff compliance with emergency procedures and guidelines. Conduct education and training on topics including heat precautions, opioid awareness, infection control, and CPR. Coordinate with leadership to execute safety drills, resolve on-site complaints, and manage First Aid station supplies. Serve as the point of contact for law enforcement and first responders when necessary. Proactively engage individuals to mitigate potential escalations and participate in required staff meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
