Job Summary
As a Safety Specialist at Hillwood Construction Services, you will drive safety performance across construction projects by developing and implementing health and safety programs, conducting jobsite safety audits, and engaging in incident investigations. You will collaborate with project teams to establish safety protocols, conduct training, and ensure regulatory compliance while promoting a proactive safety culture. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3-6 years of safety experience in construction, and a strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health & Safety, Construction Management, Risk Management, or related field preferred
- 3–6 years of commercial or safety-related construction experience
- 3–6 years of experience conducting construction jobsite safety inspections, audits, and monitoring high-risk work activities
- OSHA certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-hour) required
- Demonstrated knowledge of crane operations, heavy equipment safety, fall protection, and other high-risk construction activities
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certifications (e.g., OSHA 500/510, CHST, ASP, CSP)
- Familiarity with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore)
Additional Requirements
