Safety Specialist - Bilingual Eng/Span

Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and government regulations. Lead small improvement teams to develop safety processes, reduce workplace accidents, and maintain OSHA VPP status across all facilities. Provide safety training to all employee levels, coach management and safety committee leaders, and prepare reports communicating safety results. Maintain safety and incident records required by employers and state/federal governments. Establish working relationships with region and plant management, supervisors, and hourly employees. Support the Safety Manager during absences and make decisions in controversial matters.
