Job Summary
Provide supportive services and logistical support to the Emergency Shelter Program during designated shifts, including shelter setup, facility maintenance, and cleanliness. Assist in implementing shelter activities, encouraging guest progress toward housing, and conducting neighborhood patrols to minimize community impact. Manage administrative duties such as keeping daily summary sheets, record keeping, vendor order verification, and updating service calendars. Monitor audio equipment, organize supplies, and complete ad hoc projects as appointed by the Supervisor. Maintain detailed daily logs, respond to phone queries, and navigate urgent matters while upholding a degree of flexibility.

- High level of tolerance and understanding for individuals who present for services with urgent multiple case management and health needs
- Ability to perform crisis intervention as needed
- Ability to complete job duties that are guest focused, trauma informed, and housing focused
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible work schedule including some schedule changes, some weekends, and evening shifts
- Detail-oriented
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Self-motivated
- Ability to manage a high volume of emails
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with a group
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively both in written and verbal form as well as respectfully

- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds at times
