Job Summary

Provide supportive services and logistical support to the Emergency Shelter Program during designated shifts, including shelter setup, facility maintenance, and cleanliness. Assist in implementing shelter activities, encouraging guest progress toward housing, and conducting neighborhood patrols to minimize community impact. Manage administrative duties such as keeping daily summary sheets, record keeping, vendor order verification, and updating service calendars. Monitor audio equipment, organize supplies, and complete ad hoc projects as appointed by the Supervisor. Maintain detailed daily logs, respond to phone queries, and navigate urgent matters while upholding a degree of flexibility.

  • Flexible work schedule including some schedule changes, some weekends, and evening shifts
  • Detail-oriented
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds at times
