Safety Specialist 3rd Shift

Conduct daily safety walk-throughs, maintain eyewash stations, and stock first aid, blood, ear plug, and safety glass dispensers. Perform minor first aid as needed, monitor severe weather stations and radio, and unlock shelter doors during severe weather. Execute fire and severe weather drills on shift, lead incident investigations, and perform audits of chemical labeling. Coordinate obtaining approved forms for safety shoes and prescription safety glasses programs. Draft updates for safety documents, maintain safety brochures and PowerPoint presentations, and assist the Safety Assistant Manager and Director with maintaining SDS visual aids. Uphold all 5S policies, safety procedures, and PPE compliance to create a safe environment.
