Job Summary
Conduct rounds and observe assigned patients at risk for suicide or high injury under the supervision of a Manager, Patient Care Services, or Designee. Monitor individuals for potential self-harm or harm to others while maintaining patient safety. Maintain CPR certification within six months and ensure compliance with seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccination requirements. Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, with a minimum schedule of 8 hours per 6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school or equivalent
- Education and experience equivalent to one (1) year of experience
- CPR certification required within six months
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Schedule minimum of 8 hrs per 6 week schedule to include 16 hrs on weekend shifts
- Schedule one major summer and one major winter holiday per the needs of the schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Additional secondary healthcare training including mental health training
- Proficient computer skills including medical based programs
- Previous similar patient care experience
