Job Summary
Provide parenting education, support, and advocacy to clients through individual, family, and group work. Conduct safe, supervised visits with family members and monitor child/family interactions to ensure positive engagement. Analyze client situations to determine necessary services for controlling safety threats and create, implement, and review safety assessments and crisis plans. Mentor families according to their safety/crisis plans and act as a resource to evaluate and de-escalate crisis situations. Safely transport clients as needed and exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate in emergency situations. Work full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with rotating weekends in Oshkosh, WI, with local travel required throughout Winnebago County.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related
- reliable transportation on a daily basis
- valid driver's license
- automobile insurance
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
