Safety & Security Manager - Caprock

Job Summary
Lead safety, security, and emergency response programs for the Caprock live-in housing and hospitality community operated by Aramark. Serve as the primary liaison for onsite health services and contracted security, oversee vendor performance to meet contractual obligations and regulatory standards, and drive occupational safety, environmental compliance, and incident response in a 24/7 resident-focused environment. Coach leaders and employees, conduct safety walks, lead investigations, manage workers’ compensation processes, and support audits and emergency preparedness in partnership with operations, HR, and corporate safety.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Public Health, Business, or related field required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in occupational safety, risk management, security, or related fields
- Experience managing third party vendors, preferably in healthcare, clinic operations, security, or large scale facilities
- Strong working knowledge of incident investigation, workers’ compensation, and corrective action processes
- Understanding of severity and frequency metrics and ability to drive improvements
- ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain); OSHA certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong coaching, influencing, and relationship building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a 24/7 community setting
