Safety & Security Lead

Job Summary
Execute day-to-day safety operations and manage end-to-end incident response for Captains and customers, triaging cases from intake through resolution while maintaining accurate documentation and SLA adherence. Lead investigations into safety issues, summarize findings for stakeholders, and prepare regular dashboards to highlight trends and gaps. Follow up with affected parties to provide empathetic support and coordinate necessary assistance, while identifying process improvements and supporting the rollout of new safety initiatives and training across markets. Work in shifts to address out-of-hours safety issues, leveraging an AI mindset to optimize workflows and ensure consistent handling of safety matters in line with established SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in safety operations, and incident management with direct experience in road safety operations
- Hands on experience managing incidents or escalations, including documentation, follow ups and coordination across multiple teams
- A proven track record of working with SOPs, SLAs and metric driven performance in a fast paced operational environment
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, discretion and calm under pressure
- Strong problem solving abilities with attention to detail in case handling and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage Captains, customers and internal stakeholders effectively
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to out of hours safety issues, if required
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the transportation, mobility, or delivery industry
- Familiarity with issue-tracking and task management tools like Jira
- Urdu or Arabic language skills
