Job Summary

Manage the main point of entry by ensuring all employees, volunteers, vendors, contractors, visitors, and members sign in and out properly while greeting them warmly. Monitor security video systems using state-of-the-art cameras to detect suspicious activities or hazards, and respond promptly to alarms for fire, intruders, HVAC, or water issues. Enforce building policies and procedures, challenge suspicious individuals, and act as a first responder during emergencies by coordinating with emergency services and guiding occupants to safety. Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to maintain a visible security presence and assist with package deliveries, elevator operation, and building repairs by contacting the maintenance department. Maintain logbooks for daily activities and incident reports while ensuring the front desk remains neat and equipped with necessary supplies.

Required Qualifications

Must be saved, have a servant's heart, and be a member, in good standing or willing to become a member in good standing of FBCG
Must be able to submit to authorities as defined by the Pastor
Must possess a gracious, Christ-like demeanor in demanding situations

Previous experience in physical security is a must
