Job Summary
Safety Scientist within Global Patient Safety Science delivers safety science and pharmacovigilance support across the RevMed portfolio, including ongoing safety surveillance of clinical trials, review of protocols, updates to Investigator’s Brochures and ICFs, and authoring of DSURs. Responsibilities include medical review of individual case safety reports (ICSRs), routine safety data reviews, identifying potential safety issues from emerging data, contributing to aggregate safety reports and risk management plans, and collaboration with clinical study teams, sites, and CROs to ensure compliant safety oversight across both early and late-phase programs.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD/MSc in Life sciences or related health profession)
- 1+ years of drug development experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry
- Understanding of safety PV (GVP, GCP) and clinical/patient risk management and/or safety operations
- Strong organizational and presentation skills; ability to summarize key considerations and decision points
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence in a fast-paced environment
