Job Summary
As a Safety Risk Engineer, you will guide and facilitate safety risk management activities for platforms and products in the Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring business. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to safety processes and standards, managing risk documentation, conducting post-release risk management, and maintaining risk management plans and matrices. Essential qualifications include experience in medical product development, knowledge of relevant regulations, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Medical fields is required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years proven experience in medical product development
- 1+ years of experience in safety risk management for active medical devices
- Fundamental knowledge of regulations related to risk management
- Solid methodology know-how: e.g. FMEA, FTA, PHA
- Strong communication and moderation skills to lead discussions of cross-disciplinary teams
