Job Summary
Safety Representative conducts regular safety audits, enforces protocols, and supports the Safety Coordinator and jobsite teams. Responsibilities include delivering safety training, organizing safety meetings, maintaining documentation, administering LOTO procedures, assisting with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), inspecting materials/equipment for compliance, and participating in safety committee activities. Requires on-site presence on active construction sites, ability to navigate site conditions, strong communication and training skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a proven safety mindset. Candidate should have OSHA 30+ certification, at least 5 years in construction or safety roles, and a High School Diploma or GED. Flexible hours and overtime may be needed; position is field-intensive in Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 5 years in construction and/or safety-related roles
- OSHA 30-hour or higher certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in the mechanical/plumbing field
