Job Summary
Perform Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) activities throughout the avionics development lifecycle, including developing Safety Assessment Reports, executing reliability predictions, and conducting Failure Mode and Effects Analyses. Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to ensure products meet safety standards, support certification efforts, and implement corrective measures. Analyze reliability data to recommend improvements and evaluate Built-In Test concepts. Report to the R&D Manager Hardware. This role contributes to innovative avionics programs supporting customers worldwide within an international environment focused on innovation and high standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree preferably in Aerospace engineering, Electronics, Engineering Sciences, or a related technical discipline
- minimum 2 years of experience within safety engineering, reliability engineering, aerospace, avionics, or a related high-tech industry
- strong knowledge of Safety Assessment Reports (SAR/PSAR)
- knowledge of Reliability Prediction (RPR)
- knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- familiarity with Built-In Testing (BIT)
- knowledge of ARP4754 and ARP4761 or willingness to learn
- sharp analytical mindset
- keen eye for detail
- ability to tackle problems proactively and turn challenges into practical solutions
- ability to collaborate across disciplines
- confident communication in English
Desired Qualifications
- experience in a regulated environment
- familiarity in aerospace safety standards and technologies
- Dutch language skills
- knowledge of or willingness to learn Winchill Risk and Reliability, Jama Connect
